Did you know my favorite month is April? That’s because it’s National Jazz Appreciation Month AND Jazz Fest in New Orleans! If you know me, you know how much I dig jazz (self-proclaimed #1 Louie Armstrong fan here) and I knew I just had to contribute this year!
This year, National Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM) celebrates the often-overlooked contributions that women have made to jazz. It only makes sense to start this project off with some of the most interesting female jazz performers I know! This will be an ongoing project so check back often for new coloring pages!
